Belgium is an interesting country!  They are a very liberal and laid back country where there seems to be extreme freedom.  There is a lot of history in this section of Europe and Brussels is centrally located to get to most of historical Europe.  There are parades most every weekend that takes up a lot of time with a lot of participation by the city.  Brussels is great for food and beer!  So, you know it was a hit with me!  Belgium waffles, spare ribs, awesome salads and home brewed beer!  Belgium is also known for chocolate and lace.

As to the pictures: 7 through 10 concern a National Hero - Mannequin Pis!  This was a real king of the country.  Notice the different costumes -- a different one for different holiday and parades.
