Arlington Cemetery: A visit to
Washington, D.C. is not complete for me without a visit to this
cemetery. It takes only a few minutes to become totally
overwhelmed at the heroism and at the brilliance of so many that have
given their lives for our Country. My life dream would be to know the
history and life story of each that has been laid to rest there.
Picture 9 is of George Washington's grave. It
saddens me to know that we must lock this grave behind bars.
Picture 10 is of Albert Einstein. This
statute isn't out in the open -- it is across the street from the Viet
Nam wall and is one of my favorites of one of my favorite people in
history.
