| Washington, D.C.: There is no way you can
visit Washington D.C. and not realize two things: 1) This country
although young has a tremendous history of which we Americans should be
proud, and 2) This country is a powerful force not only in our own lives
but in those of people all over the world. We should not abuse
that power but use it for the good of all.
Picture 11 is of the Viet Nam Veterans' Wall.
In the middle of the picture is the name Gary Cooper. "Coop" was one of
my best friends in high school. We were both in Viet Nam at the same
time and in the hospital in Japan at the same time. I came home, Coop
went back to Viet Nam and was killed.
